When Coco owned this it was so fabulous....great flavors and sweet atmosphere...Now with the new owner , it is pretty flavorless, no mushroom delights like Coco made, the portions are smaller, and more reliance on soy meat analogs. The tortillas are not even as good as they used to be. We specifically chose to come back to Puerto Morelos because of this place and the change is disappointing ......we have had fabulous vegan food in other towns, but not here this time. We miss Cocos great food. This is really bland. I wish I didn't have to write this, because we want people to choose vegan food. We came back two times this week hoping it was just an off day ...but it was equally boring and not worth a return.

It's a vegan cafe which is run by a family who live locally. They are generous and freshly make everything. The only time I ate something there was when they had just received homemade biscuits from a friend (I saw them given and they gave us each a biscuit after we payed) Lovely people who make lovely food. If you become a regular you find out it's something different each day. It's for anyone hungry and it's a lot of good Mexican food for a small price

This place its great, the food delicious, its so nice to find vegan restaurantes, they have defferent options to eat theyr menu, very good prices, mexican vegan food, the ambiance its natural, i really enjoy it there

Even if you're not vegan definitely track down Coco's kitchen for a memorable fresh inexpensive and healthy meal. The food was so tasty we wish we could go back, but it's a bit of a drive from Boston. Ask for directions; it's not far from the center of town but tucked away so it's a bit hard to find. You won't regret it. Thank you Coco!!

We are sharing accommodations with friends and family! One of us tried Coco's restaurant and now we all are going!It is lovely to select your own servings from daily choices! Everything is made each morning from the freshest vegetables! The price is so reasonable as you pay by the plate and that includes,several vegetable dishes as well as rice, beans, salad, juice, tortillas and a small dessert. Each of us have favourites! I love the freshly made tortillas, my daughter likes the cacti. My friend likes the pepper dish!The dishes, bowls and cups are decorative and so Mexican. The service is wonderful!
