The Island Cove - Benllech

We drove 40 minutes from the opposite end of the island just to come back here! The ice cream bubble waffles are amazing, they are definitely large enough to be a meal on their own (lunch for us!) and I was delighted to see that they had a special menu just for dogs. Our furry friend loved her dog-friendly waffle. My only complaint is about the cafe's hours of operation - it's a shame that they close early in the day. I understand that this can't be helped, but I also think that on a beautiful hot evening, a delicious waffle would be a great treat.

After hearing good things about the cakes at Island Cove I contacted them asking if they would make some cakes for an upcoming event, it was a bit last minute but the owner was very helpful and despite the short notice offered a wide variety of choices. They were made fresh the following day and I have to say they were fantastic, I had to dive in and grab a sample before they were snapped up. Thank you Island Cove, excellent friendly service.

This charming cafe serves delicious homemade food that is fresh and beautifully presented. It is located conveniently across from the chip shop on the hill behind Tesco.

I had the most incredible breakfast at this restaurant, and the fact that it was all vegan was even more impressive! The sausages were delicious and the gluten-free bread for the toast held up perfectly when I made a sausage sandwich. I've been wanting to try the Vegan breakfast for years, and it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you to April and her colleague for the wonderful meal.

Nice Sunday treat, bauble waffles. This cafe is cosy inside and has a nice seaside feel. Free parking is not far from the cafe and the beach is a few steps away. I could see people around eating different meals not just waffles and everything looked yummy.
