Taqueria Mi Tierra - Bensenville

Very good tacos here, then ordered again and not even close to it. The tacos literally went from the best I've ever eaten to run the mill. The al pastor taco is pretty good. They also have a lot of seats and seem to have a good Margarita menu here. Will definitely order again, but consistency seems to be a problem.

Wow! I've been to more Mexican restaurants than I can count. Some have been good, some bad, and a few just terrible. However, Mi Tierra serves the best steak burrito I've ever tasted, and it might just be one of the best meals I've had overall! The steak was perfectly seasoned, served quickly and piping hot, and I didn’t encounter a single piece of fat. All the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh; I visited around 11:00 AM. The staff provided outstanding customer service, which is hard to find these days. I really wish they had a location in my area [Lockport]. The prices were reasonable—not too high but definitely not cheap. One downside is that they don’t offer well drinks; only 12oz bottles are available. However, that’s common in authentic Mexican restaurants, so it’s to be expected. The atmosphere was great! Highly recommended!

This restaurant has new owners as of a few weeks ago and has introduced a new menu that tastes fantastic. They will soon be changing the name to El Chilito Bravo. The chicken soup is incredible, and the tacos are good too.

You have very delicious food and free chips and 2 salsa with your order. Extra clean, which shows that the restaurant is proud of its decor and good atmosphere to have your meal. The restaurant walls are decorated with words in Spanish. Very interesting ideas and paintings. The best tacos are here. I highly recommend it.

Mi Tierra restaurant is under new ownership and has a new name. The new owners are very friendly and have expanded the menu options. I got a glimpse of the new menu, and I can't wait to try the new dishes. The photos I posted feature the new name, El Chilito Bravo. I'll keep you updated!
