Punch Bowl - Bentham

Even though we arrived quite late, they were incredibly accommodating and still served us a delicious meal. While they didn't have everything on the menu, the dishes we ordered were absolutely delightful. The Malaysian cuisine was simply divine, but a word of caution for those who might not handle spicy food well: they don't hold back on the heat! If you're not used to spicy flavors, be sure to let them know, as they are happy to adjust the seasoning for you. Overall, this is a wonderful spot to stay while exploring the Lake District or the Dales.

The food here is absolutely delicious, with unforgettable, authentic aromas. We stumbled upon this place by chance, but it turned out to be the best memory of our holiday. Keep up the great work, Shanthi!

Great hospitable site. Had 2 nights there in our caravan. There is a shower and toilets but we didnt use them as we had our own in our caravan. Shanty and her son was so accommodating, a well stocked bar at very fair prices. Shanty kindly gave us some free food to sample, whilst we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. It’s was delicious. Other people who were dining said the food was amazing, I must admit it smelled fantastic. Hope to see you again and thank you
