Wang's Chinese - BENTLEIGH EAST

Best Chinese in the area, cheap and delicious. Interior of the restaurant is a little outdated, but in terms of the quality of the food and service, undeniably a winner. Great for takeout. The lemon chicken, salt and pepper calamari and the lettuce delights, are favourites of ours! Is our regular hub.

Best Chinese restaurant on centre Rd (that we've tried at least). Food took a little longer to come out than most places but was fresh and hot so it's worth the wait. Will be our regular Asian restaurant from now on.

Service and great dishes. We are biased by great food and service.<br/ <br/ Beef omelette is not on the menu but it's available if you ask for it. I like mine without gravy, and with fresh chilli on the side.<br/ <br/ My other half has a special order of fish with black bean sauce.<br/ <br/ Wang's has a special waiter known as Wilson with the memory of an elephant (though not the physique) who remembers our previous orders.<br/ <br/ We eat at Wang's more than anywhere else, and even order takeaway some nights.<br/ <br/ Highly recommended.

Freshest food. We go there often and the food is still and always yummy. They use the the freshest ingredients especially the veggies which is cooked just right. We often order about 5-6 entrees and 4-5 main meals including fried rice which is the best you'd get over this side of town. The food is what I call the original chinese cooking without all the fancy additives or decorations. The servings are generous (for 5 of us ie with 3 growing big teenagers. The restaurant is simple and clean and the service is friendly.

Food consistently nice and service friendly. but very slow every time we eat in. clearly take-away has priority. we don't go there now anytime after 6pm because we have to wait too long. disappointing because the food is done so well and it's cheap.
