Closed!! Drive 16 mins here to grab lunch and they are closed with no signs of why or reopening. Really wanted to try this place.

Best chicken wings in kern county, which is not much but still they are really good wings. Large and fried just right. Just to pricey for me even with inflation 6 wings for $13 just to high for my budget.

I LOVE chicken shack! I worked in Fresno for a hot minutes and my colleague introduced me. The sauce options and the amount in each container reeled me in (y'all know I love me sauces! . When I saw there was one opening in Bakersfield, I stalked them in anticipation of opening. I normally just get chicken fingers because they used to have shoestring fries and I'm not a fan. BUT my husband likes them so we got some today, and they are NOT shoestring and I'm so pumped! They have some sort of coating on them and we're really great! We also tried the Mac and cheese. I'm so stinking picky on restaurant Mac and cheese but I dduuuuuggg this one, especially with a tiny bit of medium Buffalo sauce to it?! Yes please!!!! My favorite sauces are medium Buffalo, honey mustard, and ranch. Alllll bomb and I struggle deciding which to get each time lol. We will DEFINITELY be back

Good food! And a big variety of food and sweets! The chicken was nice and crunchy with great flavor.

The service here is excellent and the employees are very friendly. It's also very clean inside. I ordered Buffalo Chicken Fries $13.49). The portions are pretty reasonable for the price. There's buffalo sauce, ranch and cheese on top but I believe you can ask for the sauces separate if you don't want them directly on there. Fries are really crispy when you eat it fresh.
