Wunderbar - Bentota

We stayed in 3 hotels in Sri Lanka in different cities, but this was the best. Very nice property. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Each room had its own private balcony. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good.

All good a bit of up gradation required, Wunderbar Beach Club Hotel is nice place to stay in Bentota. good service and staff, they have pool open 24 hours and a private beach. the restaurant is good can try several sea food. the breakfast provided by them is good. Rooms are pretty big only they have to upgrade a bit as per today's generation otherwise all superb...

Pros Nice restaurant with view . Restaurant manager susie is great . If you want srilankan breakfast just order the day before with Sussie . Its delicious especially string hopper and chicken curry . Good view and relaxing with lots of palm trees. Beach just meters away and the good set up with umbrella, clean bed and towel and they will serve drinks on demand . Negative House keeping staff just comes in without any warning. This hotel dont have wifi in the room eventhough its advertised . When you complain they say it's only available in public space . So that's misleading. And network us too slow . Train track right in the middle of the hotel with multiple service day and night. If you are a light sleeper you may want to reconsider booking here. Restaurant got limited options for srilankan meals especially for breakfast.

Went here because we couldn't find ocean view restaurant. Food was expensive and did not do justice to the price we paid. Cannot recommend this place.

Mediocre food, bad service and overpriced. You can find much better around
