Opposite the road there is a large parking lot. The buildings of the Stampfermühle (which is also connected to a small hotel) make a welcoming impression. But it should be better... Already in the hall we were very kindly greeted by Operation Marlene. Ambience: In the mill there are numerous guest rooms, a more lovely than the others. The mill room with the old equipment works like a small museum. In addition, there is a cozy small room, a smoking room and other rooms. Unfortunately, most tables were reserved, as there is probably a bigger event today. A short demand for service renate let us know that there are still places in the stable. A relatively large room, bright and friendly, all new and tiptop clean, the tables are beautifully covered. Menu: The card offers a nice selection of soups, appetizers, meat and fish dishes as well as desserts. There are also vegetarian dishes, salads and children's dishes. In addition, today's map offers the current delicacies. Food: I started today with a liver dump soup (3,00 euros). A strong meat broth with two hearty liver dumplings, homemade and good in taste. Always seasoned. The pumpkin cream outlet (3.80 euros) was also perfect. Beautiful ally and bright color, top a sticky cream. The croutons were placed separately in a small bowl. Nobel! My partner and I decided today both for the stuffed peppers with rice (9.20 euros). After a short waiting period they came. A decent portion, the red paprika were filled with minced meat, with a piece of rice and abundant paprika sauce. The latter seemed to be a separate recipe far from any ketchupeimer praise to the kitchen! Tasteful as with mothers, I don't have to say anymore. There was also a green salad, beans, carrots, celery and white herbs. Finely dressed with a light curry dressing. Service: As already mentioned, the Stampfermühle broke with guests today. Nevertheless, the service was always the place, always friendly and with a small smile. My respect for this performance! Empty glasses were taken with a look and the question can I bring you something else to drink? . The waiting times were very short. Conclusion: A visit to the Stampfer Mill is always something special for me. The ambience is original, the kitchen excellent, the service exemplary. Prices are normal. A visit is highly recommended!
