Die Kostbar - Berchtesgaden

We stopped off in Berchtesgaden after visiting The Eagles Nest. We wanted a snack and some cool drinks on a hot day. This place fit the bill and we would go back again. The proprietor was very friendly and spoke English. The food was good and a reasonable price and it was very pleasant sitting outside in the street.

Milk shakes here were delicious , which washed down toasted sandwiches made by our host . Used by the locals , and we were the only foreigners there . The town is delightful , but very busy on our visit last Friday.... so this is a quiet corner to enjoy your snack or lunch.

One of the few nice caffeine and possibilities to get in bgd, coffee and vegan cake. there are also baguette, salat and toast (not patterned)
