It may not be fine dining, hence 4*, but what is served is very tasty and excellent value for money. The staff are always friendly and will try and accommodate you and and special requests. You only have to look inside to see a packed house to gauge that the numbers of users, many repeat customers like us cannot be wrong about this little gem of an eating house. Recommend that you make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
Was blown here during the storms of 8th July 2015, and was pleasantly surprised by a very friendly welcome. Host gave us a pile of A4 laminated historic photos of Berck-Sur-Mer to look through while our dinner was being prepared. Meal was very good, I had a mushroom and cheese omelette et frites, and my boyfriend had moules et frites and we both enjoyed them very much. Waitress seemed to think we could not read English, however, we did cope with the menu.
The personnel is nice, but the food is very poor. Overcooked cold mussels, frozen chips worse that in McDonalds, wine bought for less than €3 in the supermarket and sold at €12. Very small room so you can pick from the dish of the unknown person next to you. Poor furniture and decoration.
