They told us the reason was that the vegan pastries sold poorly when they had them. If you are vegetarian I would recommend this place tho since the eggs and the milk come from their own chickens and cows.
Solros is a small café and bakery that offers two vegan Norwegian donuts, the rest being vegetarian only (except maybe for the soup of the day). So the place is mostly to have a coffee and a little break but it is not the place to eat if you are vegan. The coffee is good and the donuts too, perfect for a stop on the pedestrian street.
Only two options but they were very tasty. Raspberry and pistachio cherry and almond. Lots of filling!
Stopped to pick up a raspberry-pistachio and a cherry-almond doughnut before our walk up the mountains. Both were very tasty. Like our doughnuts from Happy Donut but with more fillings! The raspberry one was my favourite, but both were great. A lovely sticky snack for out and about.
Stopped in and picked up the vegan options of the day; Raspberry pistachio and cherry almond. Boy were these tasty! Would have loved more options. Updated from previous review on 2022-02-23
