Rather trendy decor and map to the right level plate c is correct without more for the pricedesserts disappointing without great interest service ok

Visited this restaurant due to the good reviews on TA but should have concentrated more on the bad ones! My main of chicken with carrot and some other puree gave the impression of baby food whilst my husband's entrecote was one third gristle. Service wasn't up to scratch as we waited about half an hour for our dinner plates to be removed.

Called in based on good reviews from others. Duck en croute was tasty but strangely tough. Entrecôte would have had application in shoe manufacture - mostly left and complained but did'nt seem to worry waitress.

We ate here on our first night in Bergerac on the recommendation of our taxi driver. The food was very nice and the atmosphere was perfect. With our French at a minimum and the waitresses English at a minimum, ordering the food was a challenge but an enjoyable one with smiles and laughter all round. Well worth popping in if walking by.
