The service was very friendly, the place is very nice and the quality of the menu is excellent.

The food has always been fine, varied and seasonal. Service was very friendly and accommodating, greetings and farewells were personal and appreciative. We always enjoy coming back. Thursday evening (special menu) with smaller portions but several courses, highly recommended, great selection.

Prices acceptable for the service and the food. Always my pleasure. Update 12/17/22 another absolutely brilliant evening. The food was great, the service was so perfect and the ambience was simply brilliant (and no, I'm not paid by the restaurant . For us it's the best restaurant in the area. Congratulations to your staff. Where else can you find such exemplary service today. Politeness , professionalism and composure (in a positive sense), simply perfect. Please keep it up. Unfortunately, you can hardly find restaurants with such cuisine AND such staff anymore Update 03/16/24: finally eating out again after a long illness. As always, everything is lonely. Food, service and the host couple . Snails, veal liver and beef fillet, and finally plum sorbet with lots of prune. A poem. It is and remains our favorite restaurant. Double whammy today at Gruenebode: we had the Thursday's special (3 courses for 49 CHF) venaison's season So it was a feast! Great place for a tete a tete dinner, with prosecco cupli and french wine we really enjoyed the food (pumpkin soupe, venaison, and cinnamon parfait) it was just like our dessert: PARFAIT! Thank you for the great evening!
