Henry's Bar Restaurant - Berkeley

This charming little tavern is fantastic! They serve amazing burgers, including both meat and vegan options. The drink selection is excellent, featuring a solid variety of local beers on tap. Their gnocchi and sunchoke dishes are delicious and unique. The service is friendly, and the seating is comfortable. It's seldom overcrowded, except during major local events. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for locals to enjoy!

Lame, no food when we were there. Pretty horrible service, and all the tables were sticky.

We had fun, but the food is subpar: cold, yes, cold burgers; items that made it to the bill, but not the table...our server was very nice and made everything good with the bill when we called attention to it. The drinks ordered at the bar were good; those ordered from the table, not so much. Go with friends and have a good time, just don't expect much.

Henry's finally reopened and I don't like it at all. It used to be pretty down to earth and decent bar food and a reasonable decor that was approachable and nice for students, adults and everyone. They've redone it with fancier white walls, somehow a tighter feeling space, more expensive food and less options. It feels uncomfortably fancy in there, no longer a place to come for a simple beer after work. We came as a larger group looking for some snacks and a beer and it has totally lost its charm. Such a shame that they decided to redo it this way.

The waiter spilled water all over our table when he overfilled the glass, and he didn't bother to clean it up. He also ignored us for 10 minutes. When we finally tried to place our order, he came over but chose to take the order from the table next to us instead. When we attempted to get his attention again, he started clearing the table right beside us, turning his back to us completely. I could understand if it had been a busy night, but the restaurant wasn’t full, and the waiter was extremely inattentive and rude.
