I had lunch at the restaurant and both the food and service were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the mildly spicy dishes, which were perfectly balanced. The prices for lunch were very reasonable. It's a great new spot in the neighborhood! The naan bread was exceptional, with a delicious garlic flavor.
Friendly, pleasant, clean, airy. Delicious food. Smallish portions and low prices. Two people had lunch for under $15.
Mehak does not offer the very best Indian food I 've ever had but it does over very good food at a price level that makes it one of the very best deals I can remember. If you want to treat your family of four (or more) to great Indian food without buyers remorse, this is the place. My only doubt about the place was the mango lassi, which seemed so neon bright, smooth, and sugary sweet that I wondered if it was made from an instant mix. Note: Mehak does not adjust the heat scale for Western pallets (and egos). I 'm not afraid of ghost chili sauce but took their advice to start with medium rather than spicy and was glad I did. I could have handled something just a tad over medium but not much hotter.
The Lamb Coconut, Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala were all great. Our server was very accommodating with our allergies and dietary needs. We will be back!
