I really like the soups here, specifically the seafood soup. I don't get much else. The broth is flavorful but light, and there's a really nice variety of seafood in it. Their house tea is also worth asking for, I think it's some sort of red, not exactly sure, but it's very nice. The pot stickers aren't worth getting, though. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a big bowl of authentic Asian noodle soup in a calm atmosphere.
Food was pretty good, price for it was slightly pricey but filling. Service was alright. Atmosphere was nice. Felt like we couldn't stay here long to chit-chat if we wanted to. Ordered 2 noodle dishes 1 appetizer which came out to be $40.12 for lunch-ish hour (2pm).
Got the Taiwan Beef (top) and Lamb (bottom). They gave very big portions relative to most Berkeley restaurants for a decent price. The meats were soft and beef soup was very flavorful. The place is nice and welcoming. Also glad the ramen wheat noodle is eggless ?
We came here on a Friday night and ordered the chili fish noodle soup, scallion pancake, and beef noodle soup. The orders came out really fast, and the service was very efficient. I felt like the chili fish noodle soup wasn't very flavorful and was a bit too salty for me. It wasn't as spicy as I would've liked it, and the noodles were a bit over boiled and didn't go well with the toppings or the soup. The slices of fish were very small and not abundant. The beef noodle soup was actually pretty good (4/5). There wasn't a lot of flavor, but the noodles were perfectly chewy and the beef was very tender. Both noodles had huge portion sizes and we had to take some home. The scallion pancake was a bit dry (most likely because of the way they fried it) but the insides were pretty flaky.Overall not a bad place, but not the best for my taste.
