During the pandemic this was the place for top carry out. Some people have complained of poor service. I don't think those people considered the current situation with the loss of help and everybody doing carryout instead of dining in. Their food has always been well prepared and the help does their absolute best they can under the circumstances.

It was nice to get out for Sunday breakfast once again. We brought a friend visiting for the weekend to have breakfast at this local establishment where we've eaten and enjoyed our meals (mostly breakfast) many times through the years. My Corned Beef and Swiss omelette was delicious! The others also enjoyed their meals. Our coffee and water glasses were refreshed regularly. Our table was cleared as we lingered after finishing our meals. Service is generally pretty good; sometimes can be sporadic when crowded, so watch and be proactive rather than just wait.

Arrived on a weekday around 10:40am with my 90 year old mother in tow. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes for a waitress to stop sorting silverware, wiping down counters and tables and topping off a couple of coffees I was fed up and left. We were never even offered a glass of water. My mother was still hungry, and the slush and snow outside just added to the frustration and aggravation of having to go to another restaurant. Needless to say we will not be coming here again anytime soon. If there were negative stars I would offer up a couple, but since 1 is the lowest I can go that is what they get along with a big, fat, AVOID THIS PLACE!.

What a delightful mid-week morning stop! Alex’s is open, bright and welcoming. The tables and booths are fresh and clean. Our server, Sara was so friendly and accommodating. Menu options and Specials are plentiful. My breakfast was basic without frills, as I requested, and it was very good. Prices are reasonable. Free, ample, on-site parking is a plus as well. I want to return to try lunch or supper!

I belong to an organization that meets weekly, and Alex's is our after meeting go to place. The food is not what one would expect of a family restaurant, It is as close to gourmet as one can get without going to a fine dining establishment.. Alex does a majority of the cooking and takes pride in what he puts out, He even checks with the customers to make sure they are enjoying their dining experience.. The staff and service are exceptional.. They are friendly fast and knowledgeable of the menu items..
