Our waitress seemed to disappear and not very welcoming as it was our first time there, was no bad experience or great, either was just nice. felt like a waste of money tbh.
On Tuesday night the place was absolutely empty. The server was very nice, but not often. The bread was boring business bought diner-style bread, nothing special at all when considering it is an Italian/pasta themed restaurant you think they have made good house bread. The Calamari came with about 6 pieces chewing Calamari and a whole pepper and sweet potatoes ever, for $12 this is ridiculous. So these were individually award-winning what NIE is happening in a place that tries to be out of date, ridiculous. Market price for a basic crab meat and pasta was somewhere around $50, pasta was over boiled and sauce was so blanching it felt like slums in tomato juice. BF got penne (boiled) with vodka sauce, meatballs (Bland) and chicken (Bland). Then the desserts! This pathetic looking tray of all American themes red white and blue desserts, as a display for desserts. Awful, absolutely terrible. And the s 'mores brownie came out as two 4 inch squares, with any kind of cookie, a bell of cold chocolate, and some semi-charred marshmallows. No brownie. And the vanilla mousse cake came out as some multi berries muffle with the fakest taste I had, I could taste the artificial in it. Not exactly vanilla. And only after the bill came, did we learn that they were $14?!? They were so small and absolutely not so much worth, so no wonder they didn't put it on the menu. Only then did we see that the sodas were individually charged and the market price of my crab pasta. Eternally disappointed and honestly refuted from the price. NOT YOUR
The waiter was very nice, but with a literally empty restaurant was not very often seen. The food was?okay? best $34 for Penne alla vodka with chicken and meatballs.. Pasta was over boiled meatballs were Bland. $14 for Calamari, which was mostly roasted paprika and perhaps a quarter of it was actually squid. $3 per single soda. $55 for a?market price? lump crab capellini thing that was my gf just was? not good overall, and then the kicker was not a desert meal, but shows us this really sad looking fake deserts that were almost all red and blue bread. just wait Oh neither did they have tiramisu as an option. was never in an Italian place that did not think it was laughing.
Our family (12 people) went out last night to celebrate my MIL's birthday. While the staff was friendly enough and most of the foods tasted well, the overall experience was pretty bad. We had condensation drops on our plates from the air ducts, we were there for almost 3 hours because of incredible s l o w service, and although it advertised on Tuesday night specials online, the restaurant would not honor them. It was a very expensive night! Unless something changes there, we will not return.
We had a great dinner. The restaurant is very inside with a beautiful bar. The service was really great too. Highly recommend!
