On recommendation we visit the Mexican restaurant Alcatraz. The first problem before the visit: parking? They don't exist in Berlin. After some search we found a place in a side street. The small footpath was still pleasant for Berlin conditions. A warm summer day – despite the early days we decide to eat in the restaurant. It's almost empty at 6:00. Some guests are in front of the restaurant. But there are also rooms. Next time, the restaurant fills pretty fast. Operation: very accommodating, tells us land rats a lot, stays friendly, easy to realize that we change the table just before dinner, as a larger company had taken place in the neighboring table. She is and remains super flash... We decide today for Quesadillas con pollo (with chicken), so wheat tortilla filled with grilled chicken breast fillet strips, pico de gallo, Cheddar Gouda cheese mixture with acid cream, avocado cream, black beans and rice for 14.90€. In addition, Fajitas de Carne (with grilled Argentinian bark strips) were dressed with steamed onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and pepper strips. To this end, four wheat locustillas, pico de gallo, acid cream, guacamole (avocado cream), Mexican salsa and leaf salad were added to fill the tortillas. Price €18. Quality of food: very, very tasty. Quantity: very abundant. We sprayed 0.5l Veltins for 4.40€ or 0.5l also for 4.40€. This is also the case here for Berlin a rather cheaper (open) price. Conclusion: We can recommend this restaurant in Wilmersdorf without restriction.

Overpriced and lacking quality. Not authentic at all. Tex mex cocktail joint. Take out preferred since the atmosphere is cold and touristic.
