Really delicious healthy 'feel good food'. Korean bowl is awesome. Reasonable prices. Will be back!!

On our weekend trip to Berlin, we discovered Beets&Roots after spontaneously taking a stroll through the district. Tables both outside and inside were pretty full. After the rain came crashing down, we hopped into the restaurant.The interior reminded of a traditional American hot-dog take away. However, this time, the food was healthy, fresh and directly prepared in front of our eyes. There were lots of VEGAN and GLUTEN-FREE options available, and particular wishes were respected by the kind staff. The prices were very decent for the quality and generous portions! Nonetheless, the space-y lights and somewhat strange plastic toilet-door flaps didn't really match the concept of the food. There was a wide selection of local and exotic drinks, which were delicious but a little expensive.PRO:- Fresh and green- Great menu variety (bowls, wraps, sandwiches, salads)- Quick preparationCONS:- Strange lighting- A little messy in the kitchen when it gets very crowded :-)SUMMARY: For a healthy and fast meal on a budget, this is the place to be!

Ive tried the amazing Thai noodles soup, really good and heathy ingredient. I am from Asia, must say that its pretty hard to find nice coconut soup in Berlin, the dish definitely made me home sick. Service is fast and friendly, price is really reasonable, place is beautiful and Wifi there (not usual in Berlin). Dont forget to get variety choice of special soft drinks!

Really nice restaurant with a good selection of food. As a vegetarian on a budget I was desperate for food that wasn't bread and cheese, and was delighted with the selection here. I had the protein bowl, and my friend had the Italian bowl, we were both very pleased and felt healthier for the vitamins and protein.
