Ich habe mich schon mehrfach über das Missverhältnis von Portionsgröße zu Preis geärgert. Heute zum letzten mal: Ich bestellte ein Sandwich mit Grillgemüse für stolze € 5,90. Geschmeckt habe ich ein krosses Ciabatta (sehr gut) mit (dünner) Schicht Frischkäse, einem großen Salatblatt und viel Gewürz... den winzigen Gemüsehappen (2 kleine Paprikastreifchen, 1 winziges Zuccinischeibchen und einer Karottenminiatur) musste man schon sehr konzentriert nachschmecken. Sorry, aber das ist einfach das Geld nicht wert.
The food is delicious and fresh. There were salad, soup, quiche and sandwich choices. The staff were very friendly and made sure we understood the daily specials that were only written in German. They also recommended a German soda line which made Rhubarb soda. I now recommend you try this. Good price and atmosphere close to Checkpoint Charlie. I will be back.
If you're looking for healthy and good food, this is the place. I had a really good sandwich that was pretty big for less than 7 euros. Highly recommended!
A great little place. V welcoming and friendly. Excellent choice of nutritious food. Had lovely soup. Just right for a cold December day.
