So we finished his menu that is not bad, but extremely expensive for no reason. The 4 dumplings are 20 euros and a lamb plate with small ribs, 2 kebab and few pieces of meat is 98 euros (he simply created the menu by combining some menu prices and charged us the full price). Total price for 2 appetizers and 1 main set us 173 euros, which is incredible. Service is bad, slow.. not reactive. The most terrible culinary experience ever
The decoration of the restaurant is very nice: the dark grey walls, a combination of metal and wood for furniture and a good use of neon lights make it quite trendy. Unfortunately it was Friday, so the restaurant was almost empty. But the owner took care of us and turned what an unpleasant night might have been in a very pleasant experience. We never saw the menu, but we said we wanted fish and he arranged something with his cook. The owner came regularly to make sure we didn't want anything and chat, he was very friendly. The food was very good and quite expensive. The highlight for us was the Lachs-Teriyaki sauce, which was excellent (very well cooked and very tasty), as well as a large Grauburgunder wine. Antipasti and Dessert were good, especially the Aubergine with straciatella. I was a little concerned that we had not seen or discussed any prices at all, but the bill felt fair. We have forgotten to ask about the discount in booking with TheFork, too bad. Very beautiful evening!
Eating very large, ambience beautiful, staff friendly, but you still know that only a few days has been opened. Not quite cheap, but good.
The latest discovery in Charlottenburg. Very nice interior. The menu is kept to a minimum and can therefore be overlooked. Finally, some interesting appetizers you didn't eat at any time. My favourite are the hot stones
Good food and very attentive service! When I get back to Berlin, I'll be back! PS: Eat the black stones!!! This is really something special that there is nowhere else!
