Chutnify - Berlin

Came recommended by an Indian colleague and it fulfilled expectations. The place is very cozy and the food was really good. The menu was a bit confusing with some incorrectly labels dishes. There's a vegan mixed dish that's enough for 2 people but was labeled vegetarian.

The vibe is not your typical Indian restaurant. The service was great. The food was very tasty, pretty close to the real thing considering you're in Berlin :

Went with husband, daughter and her partner. Excellent menu with good meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend the dosas go for the original! Great service and reasonably priced.

Germans beware! It might be spicy! D: D: D: Ok, yes it 's quite expensive compared to other Indian restaurants in Berlin and especially compared to in Britain. But. I 'd honestly written off the prospect of finding anything resembling Indian food in Germany before I went here. I had the Thali plate with a few different curries and you could actually taste the different spices and ingredients that went into each dish, instead of a sort of half hearted variation on one base curry that you might get in other places. And yes some were actually spicy! Without even having to beg for extra chillies like I normally do! If you don 't like spicy you can ask them to take the chillies out and they will be happy to do this too. If you 're sick of ordering a Rogan Josh and getting a bowl of Passata or asking for extra scharf and getting black pepper, this is the place for you! P.s, to people complaining it 's 'too expensive for Neukölln ' take a look around and stop kidding yourself. It 's just as gentrified as P Berg, and you wouldn 't live there if it wasn 't!
