Diekmann - Berlin

Wir waren wieder einmal zufrieden. Unsere Gäste, kürzlich aus New York nach Berlin gezogen, waren auch begeistert, vom freundlichen, souveränen Service, den köstlichen Speisefolgen und auch dem Ambiente. Wir kommen bald wieder.

Nach dem Umbau hat das Restaurant sehr viel Charme verloren: Teilung des Raums in zwei Hälften, Abbau eines Teils der alten Kolonialwarenladen-Einrichtung. Bei einem der Gerichte (Mittagsmenu) war Gemüse ziemlich hart und zu sauer (Zitrone). Anderes Gericht und Wein ok.

Nice cosy restaurant, perfectly furbished for offering plenty of options to guests (a range from kaviar to onglet, from eel to chicken). Great wine list, bit upperscaled.

Charming place, refined in everything, few dishes, but interesting and well described, we started with a balanced and tasty fish soup, a second dish of perfectly prepared healbutt on a bed of al dente and delicate rice, an excellent dish of fried aubergines on Venere rice and tomato sauce we have accompanied an excellent crème brûlé! also good in price of 35 € per piece!

Again! For the fifth time in recent years we have been with Diekmann, this time it was a complete success. Very good service, excellent food, good open wine selection. We had the surprise menu (42€ with a well-cooled, fresh picpoul. Have fun. I had told my rejection to the onions and they dared. Our friend had the asparagus soup and was very satisfied.
