Frenc was the first restaurant we visited in Berlin. It was in the same block as our apartment rental in the lively neighborhood of Friedrichschain. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. One of the owners served us and gave us lots of info about their beers and also gave us a tip about a craft beer festival which we went to and enjoyed. Frenc serves the most amazing galettes. Picture an open crepe folded in slightly with a variety of amazing fillings then heated. A perfect food to pair with the beers.

We had read up about this superb craft beer bar before starting our holiday in Berlin and we couldn't wait to visit here as the reviews on Ratebeer were fantastic .Located in the vibrant Frierichschain area we had no problems finding this cool bar .Walking in and the bar look's superb ,it's only small and intimate with a light and airy interior ,nice furnishings and great decor and the craft beer on offer displayed on the white tiled walls behind the bar.A very pleasant and knowledgeable member of staff took our order Smuttynose Big A I.P.A 5.5% and this delicious beer was served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular craft beer bar. The beer was outstanding and had a great well crafted taste to it,it really was one fantastic beer.we had one more beer before we moved on and opted for Superfreunde Superb Ale 4% and again this was one totally amazing brew and just one great beer to savour.These are the type of craft beer bar's i actively seeking out on any holiday and on any holiday to Berlin you are spoilt for choice. We had an absolutely fantastic time in here,this was our first visit but it certainly won't be our last as the beer's on offer and the really pleasant staff made this a great place to visit. Very easy to locate by jumping tram number 21 to stop Niederbarnimstraße were you walk down the street Niederbarnimstraße were you will find this craft beer bar. Opening hours are;Monday, closed.Tuesday to Sunday,midday till 10pm. A superb craft beer bar and well worth checking out.
