Gasthaus Kater Alex - Berlin

Today we were eating with friends at Kater Alex because they had recommended us this place. And we have to say it was really a great experience! The food was very delicious, and the portions were large, but the prices were still moderate. Everything was freshly prepared by the boss personally. In addition to the delicious food, we were also pampered by extremely friendly service and felt like long-term regular customers! We were thrilled and will definitely come back. The cat Alex is definitely worth a recommendation!

We had a wonderful experience at this family owned restaurant. The service was prompt and the food was excellent! We are there on Christmas Eve and the restaurant was decorated thoughtfully with Christmas chocolate and homemade bread on every table. The portions were large and the prices were very reasonable. We tried the mushroom schnitzel, meatloaf, pork knuckle and dumplings. All were fresh, homemade and well prepared. We highly recommend!
