Kiez Falafel - Berlin

This place was definitely a go-to during my stay in Berlin. I ate here several times over the course of my 5 days here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu looks really big and complicated up on the board but the little plastic menus in the table are a bit more concise and easy to read. Overall the prices were great for the amount of food you get. My boyfriend and I both have somewhat sensitive stomachs but we both felt great after eating here. I had the falafel and the shawarma on a couple of occasions. They were both absolutely delicious. It did get a little hot inside the building but the outside seating is nice and they have big open windows that let a nice breeze in. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area. Oh! And heads up, it is cash only.

Update: 3 months later it is still delicious and I still come here once or twice a week. Your sandwich or plate still looks like an art project and your falafel is FRESHLY made for each client. Sometimes this means very long lines or wait times but it's worth it. There aren't too many seats available so if you're planning to eat in during the lunch rush be willing to share a table, sit outside, or some after the lunch rush (after 1:30). And of course if you take your meal to go, they take great care to make sure it still looks good! The people who work there really take pride in their food. If there were only two falafel places on the planet left between this and Dada falafel, I think I'll go here.

The plus points: it's cheap the makali (grilled veggies) sandwich is fairly healthy The negatives: bread was dry and stale the menu said there was hummus in the veggie sandwich, but there was none in mine portion size is very small

That's my favorite falcon in berlin. it is close to the place where I work and I eat there once a week the falafel is deliciuos, try to believe.
