Small simple restaurant, with good food and good prices. Best Pizza im this part of the city. You pay for what you eat (not for the location)

Ein familiengeführtes Restaurant. Vom Aussehen so wie die Restaurants im Italien meiner Kindheit. Schlicht, mit separater Espressobar. Auch wie früher - herrlich. Super leckere Pizza, hauchdünn. Tolle Nudelgerichte und Salate. Die Kinderpizza in Häschenform. Die Betreiber super nett. Wir gehen hier nach jedem Schlossstraßenbesuch hin. Einfach zu empfehlen.

We live near by at our August vacation and decided to dine without going to the center. what a marvelous surprise. All 5 of us liked their dishes very much. It reminded us last year vacation in Italy the prices are moderate for dinner and the food is delicious We set outside on a nice evening. I wonder how is the lunch menu and if climate wise one can eat there at lunch time. Most Berlin restaurants are not suitable for August 2015 mid day weather. Our best dinner so far

There used to be a LOT of great Italian restaurants in Berlin-Steglitz. Sadly, that's no longer the case. That's why I was so happy (and pleasantly surprised) to try out the "Madonna del Castello" again five years after it opened. What great food! The atmosphere is basic, the room small. But the pasta is al Dente, the ingredients all natural (without any chemical help), and it was altogether just a real, old fashioned taste of Italy. What more do you need? Great food!! I'm so happy I went there!! Even the tomato salad was made with love!! I ordered a gourmet main course, then a basic Napoli afterwards (just to test it). Both were delicious! Perfect! The open wine was also good. I left there a happy man! :D

Kommen hier hin und wieder vorbei. Der Chef und das Servicepersonal sind freundlich und engagiert. Die Pizza aus dem Steinofen ist ein Traum! Auch mit saisonal wechselnden Nudelgerichten kann das Küchenteam punkten. Das Prei-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut. Wer nicht zum Edel-Italiener muss ist hier Gold richtig. Freundlicher Italiener um die Ecke, mit netten Tischen auch vor der Tür. Wir werden weiterhin dort zu Gast sein.
