Restaurant Tagine - Berlin

Unfortunately, i did not have a good experience. I took chicken Tagine, and salad. The salad was good, the others are tasteless. It lack spices a lot, i ate tagine in other places, they were far more delicious. Maybe for people who are not used to spices they will find it good. It is not really authentic as they serve libanese bread with marrocain dishes. Also the service was not top. Still they have nice seating area but was a bit expensive.

Nice service and setting. The vegetarian tajine was alright but a little lackluster. Seasoning could have been more balanced and a little too much lemon for my taste. The cheese dessert was nice though!

I don't usually give reviews, but I wanted to make sure this restaurant got a proper review to give readers an impression of what a visit will be like. Food/Taste: On our visit we had flatbread with different dips like hummus or a yogurt-mint creme for two as a starter. We had six dips as a choice and it was more than plenty for us. As with the main course I cannot say anything about authenticity, but I can vouch for a great taste. As main course we had different kinds of tagine with couscous and rice and as dessert we tried baklava and a homemade special. Everything was very satisfying. Service: The service was on point, too. We had a waiter who explained each part of each dish that might seem foreign to outsiders as well as offered us tea on the house. Hell the bathrooms even had body spray and hair gel if one would ever find himself in a position where he might need refreshment. Price: I'm not gonna lie, it felt a bit pricey to us. Given, however, that we are in Berlin close to Kurfürstendamm the prices are probably alright. Overall our visit was a well worth it experience into a foreign culture of food that we can only recommend to others.

Dieses Restaurant haben wir gestern probiert, wir sind schon öfter vorbeigegangen und haben uns immer wieder gefragt, ob wir dort reingehen sollten. Wir waren vor über 20 Jahren in Marokko und dort privat untergebracht. Das Essen war wirklich schön, ich hatte einen Lammspieß, meine Frau Tagine mit Hühnchen. Das Personal war sehr nett, gern einmal wieder.

We came across this restaurant on our last night in Berlin and the aromas were so tempting we just had to try it. With team members from several different countries around the Mediterranean, the food was great. We enjoyed lentil soup, hummus, fresh pita bread, the grilled-meat platter, and more. And it has a nice wine list as well. The place was packed when we arrived, a sign of how tasty the food is, but we were able to sit under the awning and out of the rain on the sidewalk which was very pleasant. A great evening!
