Contribuisci feedbackWhen you are in Berlin and you miss some good plates of Georgian cuisine, this place won't disappoint you. It's worth a visit. Maybe two.
We know Georgian food from the past and rate it highly. We chose the Georgian feast for 4 and were not disappointed. A range of 5 dishes as starters, mainly vegetarian and excellent but also one chicken based dish. Very generous dishes served with warm cheesy bread or another bread to eat with itThe main course was large pieces of delicate, soft and juicy chicken and also equally large pieces of pork, served with potatoes and a variety of roast vegetables. Great courseThe dessert was an ice cream type dish, pavlova like, to share in a bowl with fruit inside, and biscuits. Large but a bit too sweet for me. Could not eat it allWine was Georgian, good and tasty at 22 euro. See photo of starters. Certainly will go there again, friendly staff, helpful with a headache ! Nice atmosphere , relaxed and lively. Total bill for four people :133 euro
Just incredible Georgian food. I had their lamb and khachapuri, and the khachapuri was the best I've had. The cheese was perfectly melty and warm. I would go back here in a heartbeat in my future visit to Berlin.
Great food, delicious and really tasty. Plates are enough big and well served. Price are moderate. Only spot the waiting time, we spent a bit too much time before eating.
This place has a cozy ambiance, but it was a real let-down. I took a mixed starter for two as my main course. It came on a large plate, but for the 14 euros I'd paid, it was surprisingly little food; worse yet, it was probably the least flavourful food I've ever had in a Georgian restaurant. I'd requested a vegetarian starter, which the waiter said they could do, but when it arrived they'd included chicken--evidently it was just the normal combination. My wife and stepdaughter shared a salmon shish-kebab which my wife found bland and tasteless. Only the khatchipuri (cheese bread) seemed up to standard. The service was slow--to be fair, they warned us it could take a while--and my wife found the waiter rude. I didn't sense that, but as a native speaker of German and having waited tables herself, she very likely picked up nuances I missed. Georgian food is wonderful, but you wouldn't know that from a visit here. Go somewhere else.
