Ristorante Papaleo - Berlin

Let's just start with the fact that I love pizza like Oprah loves bread. I like it from a bunch of different places in the world with different toppings and all different shapes and sizes. The pizza here was so perfect. The crust was just the right amount of thickness and was perfectly crispy to hold the weight of the light sauce and toppings (which were veggies this time). A perfect pizza has a bright, fresh tomato sauce and Papaleo's definitely delivered. Wonderfully priced, my husband and I each had a pizza and split a carafe of wine and it was less than $25. Our waitress was an older woman and I'd guess she was one of the owners, as she only spoke Italian and German. Can't say enough good things, we'll be back!

If I could give it ten stars, I would! The pizza is awesome and made right in the front of the restaurant. The pasta is homemade, it's a real treat

For us is every time like going home! The staff is super friendly, the restaurant small but cozy, and the pizza is really good! Our favorite one is the pizza Papaleo, but also the others are really tasty. We tried also the Tiramisu and red wine, all delicious. Also prices are fair.

Popped in here as it was near where I was staying; turned out to be a pretty good choice! The staff were really nice (and spoke English which is nice as my German is pretty abysmal). Had the lasagne and it was really good. The only downside was that I had to wait a little while for it, but with food that good it's definitely worth it. Will probably stop back there next time I'm in the area to check their pizza out!

We were literally kicked out of the restaurant before not even ordering. The reason: we sat in a table which was reserved, but only for one and a half hour later. The waiter came and basically shouted at us. He was extremely rude. We tried to make him understand that the table was booked for much later, but he kept shouting at us. Then he offered us the possibility to move to another table inside (we were in a table outside), but he did not let us think about it, not even for 10 seconds, cause then he shouted again and told us that they have enough customers and that they don't need us. Then he asked us to go away!
