This restaurant was really cute! And it was located on a fun street. They accepted American credit cards. I ordered the cheese pasta, and it was the heaviest pasta dish I've ever had- very cheesy with fried onions on top. I wasn't personally a huge fan, but others might like! They had some nice beers too.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Berlin you should stop here. The service is excellent and the couple who owns the restaurant is so nice and friendly! I stopped at this restaurant with some of my friends who are German, one is also Schwaben (southern German near Bavaria) and we loved the food! The quality was excellent.
Very friendly staff (who didn't mind me practicing my German with a little warning) and -delicious- not crazy expensive food.
A great neighbourhood, very different from the other areas of Berlin we had visited before. This place is recommended in a lot of the guide books and for good reason. The food is proper Southern German comfort food, cooked well and quickly at a very reasonable price. It does get busy pretty quickly, especially outside when the weather is good. We can fully recommend the apple strudel with vanilla sauce, which was delicious.
