This cafe/game lounge is a perfect place to sit down and relax after a long day. With no wifi and hundreds of board games it forces you to switch off and unwind (or get stressed depending on the game!). They serve a range of snacks and drinks as well. Can get really busy to pays to book ahead :-)
If you're looking to traditional German food, this is the place to go. I had the schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are very good and each plate comes with a decent helping of side dishes.
My partner and I went to unwind and play a few board games and were not disappointed. They had a wide range of games to choose from and had support for those terrible English speaking only tourists (like myself). The food was great, nothing fancy but a very nice way to spend an afternoon whilst travelling. The only disappointing thing was the lack of people, it was quieter than we hoped, although we did manage to pick up a third gamer who taught us a game we hadn't played before. We arrived on a Friday afternoon around 4:30pm and left around 11pm, so it was definitely worthwhile.
What a cool place! The atmosphere is inviting, the game library extensive and the owner extremely pleasant. The place has an international table, appropriated for players of different nationalities, i.e. German is not a must for players. Anyone looking for a unique gaming experience would do well to visit Spielwiese!
