Contribuisci feedbackIn general the service was very inattentive, it was hard to get in contact and the waiting time was quite long. We ordred a fiorentina beef for 4 people and asked for change the white beans to french fries and bearnaise, which wasn't a problem. But the sauce wasn't served at the same time as the beef and there was about a teaspoon for each and the amount of fries was very small as well, and when asking for a fill up we were charged on the bill. The steak was tender and in good quality. The decor and the atmosphere is good.
Small, cosy Italian, with good proper Italian food. We ate here on New Years eve 2016, and although the service wasn't the best...(busy NYE set menu), the food and atmosphere was great.

Beef in Germany is generally poor. Steakhouses in Berlin are also generally poor - those brightly lit Argentine affairs that must only cater to tourists. So this is a genuine surprise and, to preempt your answer to the question posed by this restaurant, definitely 'to beef'! We sampled the carpaccio (huge, fresh, tender, cheap!), the risotto (amazingly well seasoned) and the steak frites. The latter was the best beef (and most reasonably priced) I've had in Berlin. Could have used a tad more salt, but that is a minor quibble. I was a bit confused by the service at the beginning. My friend ordered the steak frites and was asked 'small or large?'. He said 'small'. I ordered the steak frites and asked for 'large' and was told they only had small. Given the number of languages on the go in this joint, I would not be surprised if this were a mere slippage of understanding. Otherwise, service friendly and efficient. Wines good. Kitchen, apparently functioning in English, well oiled on hard liquor and performing all the better for it - at least as far as I could tell from my vantage point in the restaurant, looking straight into the engine room. Would definitely return.
