I ordered a pizza Funghi with hot peppers and I liked the taste. I just would have had the tomato sauce more seasoned, but that’s my personal impression. I would return.
We came to visit friends who live just around the corner from this lovely, authentic and friendly Italian restaurant. They had booked a table for 4 for early one Monday evening recently. I was amazed how full the place was outside in their garden area. As our friends know the owners and staff extremely well we got extra special attention with all the friendly banter that made the evening especially nice. I went for their Pizza Diavolo with extra gorgonzola cheese. Very nice. And we enjoyed this with a nicely chilled bottle of white Zabu Grillo wine from Sicilia the origin of the owners here I believe. I didn't have a dessert but we partook in a number of post dinner glasses of Fernet Branca liquor including one on the house. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our ad hoc evening dinner, made really special by the fact that our hosts were so well known to the staff here.
The food here is authentic, one can tell. We went for pizza and it was delicious! The radler was also very cold!
The waiters would forget about things we had asked for. The food came suspiciously fast and the pasta was bland and over cooked.
We came occasionally with 2 months young baby with babystroller about 14.00. Waiters were nice and immediately find the place for us. My wife ordered very tasty and tender gnocchi and I was very glad to see in menu pasta con tartufo nero in parmesan . It was REALLY delicious, well soused and made with experience and kindness. I tried many times that dish in Italy and also in Berlin but this is my Number 1 ! Grazie e alla prossima volta!
