Went for dinner on Monday night. Place was pretty packed but we got a table in about 10 minutes. Ordered house wine, some appetizers and chorizo. While wine was brought in fairly fast (gave us red but we asked for red), appetizers and chorizo took...long time. To be factual, we waited for almost 1.5 hours for chorizo which is quite long time in my opinion. Overall, decent place with super slow service.

We came across this place on trip advisor whilst we were walking in the area it was hard to find from the street but what a hidden gem it was! Full of locals and we were lucky to get a table with no reservation....We had the flat bread pizza (Flammkuchen) and the beef special. The waitress was very helpful as we speak no German. She even helped us when we went to order a shot instead of a drink with our meal. Reasonable priced and we thoroughly recommend.
We were staying at the Marriott and came across this spot on a restaurant search of the area. Happened to walk by when returning to the hotel and it looked very quaint and inviting so decided to book for dinner. We were not disappointed. Started with the goose liver pâté and the mixed appetizer plate. Both were beautifully presented and ample portions for the price. Our main dishes consisted of the maultaschen pasta which was a generous portion and came nicely presented on a bed of spinach and a fresh salad. We also had the Parma flammkuchen which was delicious, on a crispy well-prepared crust and also a generous portion. Our third main was an evening special (two are generally offered each night) of sliced, grilled striploin of beef in a mushroom cream sauce with roasted potatoes. Again, deliciously prepared, extremely generous portions and beautifully presented. We accompanied our meal with a 0.5l carafe of Riesling from the general wine offering which was crisp, fruity and delicious. The interior of the restaurant is very quaint with numerous wine bottles lining the walls which are for sale. There are 5-6 tables outside and are the preferred tables during nice weather. Our only (albeit minor) complaint was that table service got a bit sparse once our meals were served. With only 2 servers and the restaurant busy, getting further items like water, later in the meal, necessitated going up to the bar to request. In all, however, a spot that punches far above it's weight in quality, presentation and atmosphere for the price. Excellent value!
