The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service was attentive. We had the restaurant to ourselves early on a Sunday, which made for a lovely experience.
Finding authentic food in the desert can be a challenge, but this restaurant truly delivers. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. A helpful tip: if you're ordering takeout, it's quicker to call ahead.
I'll keep this brief: overall, the quality and pricing at this restaurant are fantastic. Out of the four dishes we ordered, I wasn't a fan of the honey shrimp, but to be fair, I don't usually like honey shrimp anyway; my wife ordered it, and I just wanted to try a bite. One of the first things I check when visiting a new restaurant is the cleanliness of the restrooms and the availability of soap, and this place passed that test. I will definitely be coming back again!
As I explored the menu, I came across some authentic dishes that caught my eye. Having vacationed in China and married to a Chinese woman, I’ve spent nearly ten years immersed in Chinese culture. One particular dish excited me as it featured a unique recipe that’s hard to find. I asked the server how the chef prepares it, and instead of rushing to provide a quick answer, the server took the time to ask the chef on my behalf. Although the answer wasn't what I expected, I appreciated the effort, and it’s rare to experience such attentive service in small restaurants nowadays. Despite my disappointment about the dish, the attentive service renewed my hope for a delicious meal. I decided to try the Mongolian beef, which arrived beautifully presented, with tender beef nestled among perfectly cooked onions and other vegetables—a delightful, moist bite bursting with flavor. The visual presentation couldn’t compare to the exquisite taste I enjoyed. So, a lesson learned: don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is a hidden gem, and I look forward to returning to indulge in more savory meals in the months ahead.
I was in town and had a craving for Chinese food, so I decided to order two classic dishes through Uber Eats: orange chicken and General Tso's chicken. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. The flavor and texture of both dishes were lacking, and I could barely manage a couple of bites before I had to throw them away. I'm really sorry about this because I wanted to enjoy the meal; perhaps the noodles are better?
