Metzgerstuebli - Bern

Disappointing. Food was bland, void of taste and flavor. In stark discrepancy with the prices, strenuously justifiable by the location. We had the coq and entrecote, and both were forgettable.

It's been almost 12 months since I last ate here and nothing has changed with the superior food quality and service. The service is sharp and efficient, waiting times between courses is perfect. Quality of food is excellent and varied.

We went there for lunch. my friend ordered menu du jour: excellent. My self i ordered first a soup, a delicious gaspacho with coquille St Jacques. Not enough for my hunger, i then ordered homemade taglatelle. I waited, the waitress left, and nothing came! As i asked, the cook has left!

When memory meets reality... I didn't expect something so expensive and disappointing. Only the service was nice, the food... I would never go there again.

Great service, the store manager is attentive and extremely friendly. The food was sensational, I was constantly surprised with new, delicious dishes on my plate.
