Osteria 93 - Bern

A beautiful summer evening, knowing badly this berne district, it is by chance that my friends and I settled to eat on the terrace of this restaurant, happy to find another place to eat despite the late hour. and we can say that chance has done well, because this restaurant is excellent. Instead of traditional pasta-pizza-risotto that you find everywhere, this restaurant offers an all-enchanting menu with an inventive and tasty Italian cuisine, which is not afraid to revisit some classics. first impression: the menu offers a relatively small choice of dishes and some dishes of the map were no longer available, which is good sign because proof that we have to do with fresh products. I order a dish of gnocchi of shrimp and citrus sauce: a feast. My friends made the choice of beef tartar accompanied by zucchini flower, the dish was very well presented and visibly very good as well. I'm not hungry anymore, but the desserts card is so sweet that I let myself try with a cream of lemon accompanied by candy raspberries, a pure wonder. A good point finally for the service, very pleasant. My friends and I have had a great evening and we will not miss coming back.

Osteria 93 proposes quality Italian food, although even at lunch the prices are a bit steep. Classy interior, good service. The panini place across the street, which they also own, is where you want to go for a takeaway experience, and here again it's fresh and high quality. Would not necessarily cross town to come here, the location lacks a bit of charm (major noisy street nearby) but it's a good spot if you're in the neighbourhood.

The menu is small and fine. the foods are perfectly prepared, but expensive. the wee are in terms of quality/price in the upper segment. there is no hahnenwasser. the ambiente is sober and the space is very badly damped (very high noise level to eat in a restaurant).At 21:45 clock, the osteria turned into a music locomotive with which we are in the leading role. he sang to the music preserves and keyboard sounds famous Italian melodies. he has a good vote, but then unfortunately he has too often bounced into the microphone. the loudness was generally what was disturbing. a maintenance with the table neighbors was no longer possible. to this circumstance, he showed no understanding, and read it further out of the boxes crash. Too bad. we decide in the rule for restaurant or music. the mix of osteria93 is nothing for people with hearing problems.

We have landed spontaneously in the osteria. the reception was cordial, to greeting gave an amuse bouche and additionally wonderful Italian brot. the food gave us excellent. the map is rather small - pizza is in vain. as dessert we chose panna cotta and it tasted us well, but it wasn't a classic panna cotta but rather a delicious cream.

We went with a Swiss friend on our honeymoon and it was excellent the experience, they gave us a very pleasant time.
