Les Marmottes - Bernex

I had given 4 stars but changed to 5 after my visit today. The service was excellent and at the table on the terrace. Just one thing, the sun goes down around 14h it does get chilly outside.

We turned up today for a walk in the beautiful mountains (4 adults, 6 children) and we hoped to grab a snack and some drinks at Les Marmottes. Sitting ourselves down at a table outside, my friend began to clear the table so we didn't have other peoples leftovers around us, that was seemingly our first offence. Then when I walked in to ask for a menu, a rude little man told me to basically, go away and relax and he will bring menus soon (not in a friendly way). That was probably offence number two. After some words were exchanged, all 10 of us upped and left and decided to go elsewhere. Strange, they lost a few hundred Euro's of business due to rudeness, maybe they are very wealthy.

An altitude restaurant that has been present for over 30 years and always a pleasure to leave. Beautiful savoyard decoration, mountain view and/or lake. Excellent quality cuisine with local products.

Très bon restaurant des alpages accessible en voiture, excellentes spécialités savoyardes a prix raisonnables...fondue, berthoud, raclette ????. Très bon service....More

Nous avons mangé en famille le menu, super rapport qualité prix, assiettes bien chargées, nous ne sommes jamais déçus aux marmottes quand nous skions à Bernex
