Gasthaus Huwer - Bernkastel-Kues

After a few hours walking around the beautiful old town of Bernkastel-Kues (a twin town in 1905) on the river mosel and from the early stone age (4000-3000 w. chr.) we passed on this magnificent ice cream, which is actually a gas house with. of smiling, friendly staff, there was a series of suppening, sandwiches, schinitzel – a speciality (building was a metzger by many previous generations egg dishes (prices from E12.50) beer and wein – a large selection of the latter. it has enjoyed a relaxed lunch at a reasonable price. the restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 to 17:30. there is not much space, so not for small children maybe, although older children were present. also toilets on a winding narrow staircase.
