If you like beer, you're sure to find a pint (or several) that you’ll love. The venue itself is really cool. It’s small, but it wasn’t too crowded during my visit. We chose to sit outside since there was a duet performing that evening, and it was comfortable and pleasant. The music was also really enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back!
My wife and I have made it a tradition to explore breweries during our vacations, so when we visited Berthoud for the first time, we knew we had to check out the local brewery. Berthoud Brewing is a cozy spot featuring a lovely patio and a limited selection of taps—typical for a smaller brewery—which helps to simplify the decision-making process. We sampled a flight of their five beers; although only one truly stood out for me, any craft beer enthusiast (like us!) would certainly enjoy trying a flight here. The service was warm and welcoming, and the other patrons were friendly as well. Overall, it's definitely a place we would return to! For us, craft beer is all about the experiences, and Colorado has an abundance of micro and nano breweries to choose from. If you appreciate good beer and a relaxed atmosphere, Berthoud Brewing is a must-visit!
The beer selection is impressive, so I decided to try a flight. The yeast they use gives the beer a slightly sour taste, which some may enjoy. The menu appeared fantastic, but since I wasn't very hungry, I opted for a serving of their delicious wings. There's plenty of parking available, and the outdoor seating is spacious and quirky. However, it seems you'll need to go inside to place your order, as they only appeared to be clearing tables outside.
This is one of my favorite breweries in Loveland! The beers are great and the staff is amazing! Oh and the pizza is so good!
I rode my bike up Hwy 287 from Hwy 66 and Main: ANY beer was welcome, but from my flight, I thought 8th St. Amber, had the least gap between reality and rhetoric: range-amber; rich malt and caramel aroma with matching flavor. Light body with clean, refreshing aftertaste: Alc. 4.4% IBUs 28. Bartender was friendly, and the small indoors of place was not crowded , with the typical Chicago-land-Beer-Swilling Tourist Hoard one finds in Longmont to the south. They offer free pretzels, which was a nice enough touch for me to add an extra star.
