I tried their chocolate raspberry truffle chunk which is dark chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate raspberry truffle and tons of chocolate chunks. It was tasty and the cake cone was crisp! It was so good, we went back the second day. Fast forward to recent days and we got chocolate pecan and orange sorbet. The chocolate pecan has tons of well roasted pecans, it gave the ice cream some texture. The chocolate is regular chocolate so it's milkier and sweeter than the dark chocolate. It is delicious but a bit on the sweet side for me. We also got orange sorbet, it's very refreshing! But the sweet nature of sorbet became a bit much for us toward the end. It was still a great experience. We enjoyed our treats at the benches around the perimeter as well as other people. People are friendly, the vibe is relax. A good place for a summer treat!
Always delicious and worthy of a stop year round! While there?s often a line here, the final product is worth the wait. Ice cream is generously scooped and with over 35 flavors you?re bound to find something for everyone. If not a cup or cone, handle has other delicious offerings hurricanes are like a better tasting DQ blizzard, milk shakes are hand blended, and handle pops are a sweet treat when looking for different options. Plenty of parking but especially popular in the evening and summer months.
Just happened to reach here 3 minutes before they closed but they gladly took the order after having waited in the line. Got the Butterscotch Vanilla and it was yummy ???? Close your eyes and just go to this place, you won't be disappointed.
I think Handel is the best ice cream in Philly Mainline area (if not in the whole philly). And It is homemade. The staffs were also super friendly. Will surely come again!
The icecream is delicious . We have been going for years and went yesterday for the first time this season which I was really looking forward to but was pretty disappointed . I ordered and paid for two scoops but received what looked more like two tablespoons .
