Mcalister's Deli - Bessemer

My granddaughter visits this place frequently, but I never tried it because I'm gluten-free and wasn't sure if they had anything for me. I decided to give it a shot today, and I found they offer several gluten-free options. The veggie spud is fantastic and quite large. It's a lovely spot with delicious food at reasonable prices.

I've always enjoyed this place. I typically order the Turkish cranberry club, but this time I tried the Green Goddess Cobb Salad, and it was excellent. The portion size was generous. I also sampled the Blackberry Sweet Tea.

The taste of the smoked turkey, black forest ham and Angus roast beef, and provolone on the Memphian sandwich was beyond my imagination. It was full of flavor and freshness. The cheese and broccoli soup was creamy and cheesy. The chicken salad sandwich was bold and seasoned.

People are always extremely friendly and this is one of the only places I can usually not even finish my meal (and im kind of a big guy haha) bc the portions are big. This sandwich is half as tall as my cup and still spent less than I would at a burger joint. I'm not a vegetarian but they have different options for ppl with different diets and parking was pretty easy to find
