Sakura Japanese Sushi Steak House Hueytown

The food was delicious. There were a few mix-ups with our orders, and the service wasn't the best, but it could have been due to having a new server.

Terrible Service! I placed my order over the phone and went to pick it up. The total came to $45.00. Since I didn't receive any complimentary sauce, I asked to add two cups of sauce for $5.00, which I believe should be complimentary. After that, I was asked to sign the receipt, and it seemed like he was expecting a tip. He then looked at me and said, "I don't even know why I gave this to you," before tossing my card on the table and walking away. I will not be returning to such a discourteous establishment. If your staff can’t provide better service, maybe it’s time to find new jobs.

From the flavorful soup to the hibachi steak and scallops served with rice and vegetables, the food was truly exceptional. The scallops were cooked to perfection, just like the steak and vegetables. You can't go wrong at this restaurant, especially with such friendly and attentive waitstaff.

This place is really great. I just moved here and wanted to try a good meal and I'm here. Everyone was super nice especially my waiter, the place was clean, and the food was good. Would recommend.

My sisters took me to Sakura in Hueytown last night for my birthday 7/29/2022. We were treated with a great wait staff, fantastic food and even a birthday sing along. Fantastic experience and food. Will definitely be going back.
