Cottage Cafe - Bethany Beach

It took a year since the SoDel acquisition but it's now showing... signature soups now a shadow of their former versions, increased prices, lower overall quality food and lots of new faces/staff. Used to have to arrive by 4pm for happy hour seating but no more... we had our choice of bar and high tables at 5pm, and that was never the case previously. The word is apparently our, at least with the locals....

The food was good. The service was great. Michael is a wonderful server.

At this point, this is our go to spot for a reliable meal when we are in town. We enjoy happy hour with Dune Fries, but also like their sit down meals, but often order too much (which isn't a problem.

Our server was very friendly and just wonderful! The atmosphere is welcoming and looks fresh and clean. We had lunch and the food was amazing. The presentation, taste and quantity was perfect.

My husband and I went out for a date while at the beach and we stumbled on this gem! It had a great atmosphere! Richelle was our server and she was great. Friendly and attentive. She had many tables and juggled them all well! The bacon cheese fries were some of the best I’ve ever had! I had the salmon and my husband had the fried oysters… both were delicious! The bread pudding for dessert was a great ending!!
