Stony Hill Diner - Bethel

A great American diner! We went for breakfast. I had the 2 eggs with hashbrowns and a toasted hard roll. Yum! Coffee is good.I love the pictures of the stars of the golden age of Hollywood eating. Very clean and big portions.

A Diner's Diner. Very popular, it appears. Worthy of reservations-only. Wife and I ordered the breakfast special to split and had food left over.

There are two waitresses that are amazing! Our food comes out correctly and is cooked well. There is one waitress who messes up at least one order every time we're there. She's also brought out moldy, expired desserts.The bathrooms are also a problem, especially the men's room. It is always visually dirty, poop stains in the toilet and floor, and smells like someone pooped in the vents! We've notified them several times and nothing has been done. It looks and smells like it's never been cleaned since they opened. Not sure what the problem is there. The woman's isn't as bad, but I'd definitely rather hold it than use that bathroom.Overall, we're regulars and enjoy their hospitality. If the waitress we struggle with could be additionally trained and the bathrooms were cleaned daily and the intense, lingering smells are dealt with, this place would be 100%.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and they have GF bread, but be aware of cross contamination. Never had a problem with the eggs and home fries.
