Village Pizzeria - Bethel

This restaurant is right across the street from the motel I'm staying at, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The pizza, chicken tenders, and fries were cold, and the fries were also soggy. The Philly cheesesteak had almost no meat on it. To make matters worse, despite being in a motel and ordering antipasto, I received no utensils, plates, or napkins. When I called to share my feedback, I was told to take it up with the delivery driver. That was the response I got!

I visited this restaurant for a quick meal with my son. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door that said, “I’ll be back in 10 minutes.” There were others waiting too, who mentioned they had been there for a while. I tried to see if anyone was inside, and there were people, but they didn’t even ask us to wait inside. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes myself. It was chilly outside, and I had my 1-year-old with me. No one ever opened the door. I will never return to this place and will make sure to inform everyone I know to avoid it as well.

I was disappointed by the pizza. The crust was too soggy for my liking, and I didn't enjoy the taste of the sauce or the cheese either. Overall, it just didn't have the right flavor.

The garlic knots were really good—actual knots! They were well-seasoned and soft. The pizza was also enjoyable. The crust was just the right thickness, not too greasy, and had the perfect amount of toppings. I only took off one star due to the delivery timing. The estimated wait was 25 minutes, but it ended up taking almost an hour, if not longer, because the delivery driver had to wait at the restaurant.

Not from the area but found this place while staying in the area. Excellent food 2nd time ordering from here and was as good as the first. I had a calzone from here the first time. It was excellent but too much for one person. Next order a small cheese pizza outstanding i am picky about my pizza). Ill be back to try other items. Also friendly service!
