However, when the dish arrived, it contained no pasta at all; just some murky liquid, sliced onions, and it was cold. I had to get up to find our waiter, who admitted it was his mistake for not informing us that they only had penne available as gluten-free. There’s no way a proper order of pasta can be served in just one minute. My wife didn’t even try it, as it was likely regular penne. I ordered the spicy shrimp fettuccine, which came with just four shrimp, served cold and drenched in a sweet marinara sauce—with no spice whatsoever. As for the service, let’s just say it was nonexistent. We asked for additional bread, but it never arrived, and the waitstaff didn’t check in on us at all. Our party of six decided to share two desserts: cannoli and tiramisu. After trying a couple of bites of the tiramisu, we left most of it on the plate, and the cannoli was equally uninspiring. Overall, the food was overpriced, cold, and lacked flavor—a huge disappointment. It seems they were hoping that keeping the Amalfi name would attract old loyal customers, but I would advise diners to be cautious; this is nothing like the original Amalfi. Save your money and dine elsewhere. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

"There were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, and the waiter had a hard time locating them! This is my third visit, and the food is fantastic. I just wish you offered lunch service. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5"
Today 's review is of a popular restaurant in Montgomery County Maryland called Chef Tony 's . Our group dined at the Rockville, MD location. First off the staff and patrons were nice. We even met Chef Tony himself who was a pleasure. The food was very good. I wouldn 't say out of this world but it 's definitely worth eating at more than once. The surf and turf wasn 't what I expected. And while the shrimp and scallops were excellent, the steak was too salty and way too chewy. The stuffed salmon was delicious and definitely a winner. Crab cake was on point. The Seafood Stew was excellent as was the Seafood Paella. All in all the experience was a 3.7 out 5. We will definitely come back. Note: We don 't recommend trying the appetizers beef ravioli or the crab stuffed mushrooms . It was plated nicely but the taste was average and not worth the price. My review is solely based on the food! I was hankering for some lobster Mac and cheese and saw another reviewer’s picture of the restaurant’s dish. Then I noticed you could order food from here via delivery l! Yay! When I got my order, I noticed there was a good amount of lobster. The dish is a large portion size. And the it came with a warm zucchini side dish! THAT WAS SO GOOD! Things I didn’t like, the top of the dish was caked in breadcrumbs. I know some people love breadcrumbs, but these seemed heavy handed. The dish I saw online didn’t look like there were any breadcrumbs, which made me excited. So seeing that much breadcrumbs made me a bit disappointed. Also the flavor of the cheese sauce was a bit bland and there wasn’t a lot of it. Nevertheless the noodles were cooked well and the lobster was good! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3
