One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Every order was delicious. Endless appetizers, scrumptious pad Thai, summer rolls...all excellent. Really fun relaxing atmosphere. Experiment a little and ask the for suggestions. Service was outstanding due to covid phobia, we came outside under the heat lamps. It began raining, so they graciously moved all of us, including my dog, away from the elements. Heading back a soon a I can.
Amazing ambiance. I would say that if you're vegan/vegetarian and don't eat fish let them know a lot of the dishes are cooked with a fish sauce/oil and I don't think it was mentioned on the menu. Shout out to my waitress for accommodating our allergies/dietary restrictions. I did however find this spot to be on the pricier side.
I tried the new drink apart of the lunar new year menu, called the Sichuan squeeze and the flavor is absolutely great! The sichuan chili vodka pairs greatly with the yuzu and lemon. Its the perfect mix of sweet, refreshing, and bold!
Rounding up from 4.5. Mix of excellent and very good dishes. Be sure to ask for the free dishes of dipping sauces (I believe that it was referred to as a spice plate), black vinegar and sriracha so that you can fine-tune the flavors served. Excellent and responsive service. Nice deal at happy hour (3-6 pm): half-priced baos, $5 fried chicken dishes, cocktails $3 off.DETAILS:*Excellent: duck curry noodle dish— beautifully rounded flavors; Japanese fried chicken (yummy when dipped in the accompanying Kewpie mayo); cocktails.*Very good: Pork BBQ bao bun with hoisin sauce (hoisin too sweet; needs to be offset with another flavor); spring rolls (and I don’t care for spring rolls); rice flour-fried string beans. All of these are elevated by the dipping sauces/spices provided.*It Depends: Hong Kong wonton soup with char siu. As served, bland and wouldn’t recommend. You can do better at numerous other establishments. That said, it was delicious after being doctored with the free dipping sauces/spices kindly provided by our waiter. *Lesson: ask for dipping sauces/condiments/spices if you want to intensify the flavors of what you ordered.*Thanks to Abraham for excellent and responsive service and for introducing us to the free dipping sauces/spice plate.
